SCOPE OF WORK: Install one (1) bathroom exhaust fan with exterior exhaust duct in newly constructed basement bathroom. EQUIPMENT & DUCT SPECIFICATIONS: - Bath exhaust fan (Panasonic RG-M79LA) rated at 70/90 CFM (intermittent) per Minnesota Mechanical Code Section 1346.0303 / IRC M1507.4 - 4" diameter rigid (solid) galvanized or equivalent metal duct - Duct run: approximately 55 linear inches, horizontal, through joist bay to exterior wall penetration - Exterior wall pest/weather-proof cap with integrated backdraft damper installed at foundation wall TERMINATION: - Exhaust terminates directly to exterior through foundation/rim joist area per IRC M1504.3 - Exterior cap located on side (driveway-facing) elevation, at or near rim joist height - Termination does not discharge into attic, crawlspace, soffit, or any other enclosed space CODE COMPLIANCE REFERENCES: - Minnesota Mechanical Code (MMC) Section 1346.0303: Ventilation of bathrooms and toilet rooms - IRC M1507.3 & M1507.4: Exhaust
