Residential Building Repair by Licensed Contractor

A different contractor is roofing the house. Upon them doing the shingle removal we will install a continuous layer of 3” foam over existing flat roof deck portion on backside of house. On top of that 1/2” plywood. We will install synthetic underlayment as a precaution to protect the plywood and foam. On top of the plywood we will install 2x4 sleepers layer down 24” on center fastened to existing truss with structural screws to hold system together. The roofing contractor will install the new decking over the sleepers as well as roofing materials.
