did alert contractor of an existing non-compliant condition in 'storage' room and asked him to tell owner permantly installed shelving in a Type II building would need to be made of non combustible or limited combustible materials in compliance with Section 603.1 MSBC. As this condition was existing, the Scope of work outlined in the permit is APPROVED. *** contractor will add sign at stairway door adjacent elevator identifying the stairway

after checking corridors (for occ. load >50 are required to be 44" wide. allowed new 'passthrough' to remain at 36 as it is eliminating a dead end corridor. also small hall to (3) offices with occ. load <10 will be allowed to remain at 36". all other corridors in circulation path required to be 44" wide

need to check on corridor widths and obstructions limiting width to <44" (36") per table 1020.2 MSBC w/ 72 occ. in space Code summary references CCEB, but no compliance method or alteration level was indicated on plans. so, inspected for compliance with current MSBC
