    Progress Report

    InspectorBrian Crask

-Received a voice mail from the contractor asking how to verify that the lumber is in fact treated. -I replied to the e-mail requesting an invoice from the lumberyard the specifications all lumber delivered to the site for review. The stamps on the lumber in question do not indicate that it is treated/rated for exterior use, in addition to the lumber not appearing to be treated. Reviewing the invoice may provide clarity as to if the lumber used is treated or untreated. Note: Further documentation or action may be necessary to verify if the lumber is treated/ rated for exterior use or not.
