Demolition Only (No building permit)

Merjent, Inc., on behalf of CenterPoint Energy (CenterPoint), is submitting the attached application materials associated with CenterPoint’s Mankato 1 Warren St & Malin St Project (Project) located in Sections 18 and 19, Township 108N, Range 26W within the City of Mankato, Blue Earth County, Minnesota. CenterPoint is proposing to improve natural gas utilities within the City of Mankato, and as a result must abandon and demolish an existing 14-foot-long by 10-foot-wide regulator building located between Thayer Ave and Dillon Ave in Mankato, Minnesota. See the attached Project map for specific location information. Per discussion, the proposed demolition qualifies for the City of Mankato Building Permit with a fee of $379.28. All building materials and infrastructure will be removed from the site and no new structure will replace the demolished regulator building. The project area will be restored and possibly sold back to the property owner. The Project is proposed to commence in August
