On site with Spartan Contracting. They had questions about hanging the porch roof rafters off the beam supports rather than bearing the rafters on top of the beam. They have an engineered plan showing rafters on top of the beam. I told them that hanging the rafters should be good but that they should run it past the engineer of record and have the plan updated accordingly. Ben.
