    duct detectors serving sales floor equipped with duct detectors located in return drops (not in RTU's) Per 901.4.5 MSFC fire protection devices (duct detectors) installed must be compliant with the MSBC -or- if not required be removed. as they are installed must comply with Section 606.4 and 606.4.1 and installed in compliance with NFPA 72-16, Section 17.4.7, which requires remote indicator in an accessible location (functions shall include test/ reset switch) as the building has a FACP, it must also be connected to the panel and report as a supervisory signal upon detection of smoke while simultaneously shutting down unit.
