    corrections 1 & 2 are done, contractor on site, they used GRK 5/16" x 5 1/8" lags RSS-there are 2 lags every 16" oc, he still needs to supply the manufacturer lag spacing for a 6 foot joist span. PM - Contractor sent in the manufacturers lag spacing chart for the 5 1/8" lags and it shows the spacings have to have a lag every 14 inches on center, these are 16" so there will have to be an extra lag added between every set of lags that are in place now on the new 6 foot deck section.

    1. bottom riser has to be within 3/8 inch of all other stair risers in the same stair run. 2. the handrails on stairs do not comply with code-one grippable handrail is required on the stairs--- 2 inch maximum diameter, the top of the handrail has to be within 34-38 inches above nosings of the treads, the handrail has to be continuous, the handrail has to return into top and bottom posts and ending above risers at top and bottom of stairs. 3. provide the lag manufacturer's requirements for ledger board attachment. Call for reinspection when done.
