    flex drops to diffusers double taped. per plans, duct insulation to code required. verified that walls separating vault and intake room went to deck and no returns in above ceiling space (air will not be re-circulated from those spaces) Grid was already in at time of inspection. told contractor in future to schedule rough in prior to installing ceiling tiles. will note corrections on final insp. comments

    ***in intake room @ ex fan/ duct. insulate ex. duct from fan outlet to exterior envelope. ***@ exterior, ex, outlet must discharge 10' from grade [501.3.1(2.) MSBC] contractor said he would 'snorkel' duct up to 10' above grade. *** Balancing report shall prove (3) supplies in vault/ intake room(s) total cfm's are less than Ex. rate (per plans that is 600 cfm)
