Residential (Multi-Fam)

Overlay the existing single-ply EPDM roof assembly with tapered insulation to establish positive drainage, followed by installation of a new 0.060-inch Mule-Hide EPDM membrane. Only one EPDM membrane is currently in place, as permitted by Section R908.3.1 of the 2020 Minnesota Residential Code, and it is in satisfactory condition to serve as the substrate for an overlay. All work including substrate preparation, insulation installation, membrane adhesion, flashing details, and edge securement will be performed in accordance with the manufacturer s installation guidelines and all applicable provisions of the Minnesota Residential Code and City of St. Paul roofing permit requirements.
