Adding non-support wall to change common living space into bedroom and common living space. There will be a 36" door in the wall, with 3 outlets added on both sides of the wall. Current lighting will be re-wired to provide lights in both rooms. Smoke detectors will be added in the bedroom and outside of the new bedroom door. Secondary opening in the new bedroom will be sealed up with sheetrock. Wall will be 2x4 construction with treated bottom board along the cement floor, and a 36" door approximately 96" from the exterior wall with the egress windows present. Egress windows were installed in summer of 2025, all work was permitted and has passed inspection. The ceiling in the entire space is a false ceiling. There is ceiling mounted duct work in the future bedroom to provide heating, cooling, and general airflow.
