Residential Building Permit

The project consists of an interior remodel to create a new half bathroom and an adjacent refrigerator niche. A new non-load- bearing partition wall will be constructed to separate the toilet area from an adjacent space. The toilet will be installed on the left side of the room with minimum code- compliant clearances maintained. A wall-mounted or compact vanity sink will be installed on the right side of the bathroom, close to the new wall. A new interior door will be installed on the left wall providing access to the bathroom. Door swing will comply with required clearances and will not interfere with plumbing fixtures. On the opposite side of the new partition wall, a framed niche will be constructed to accommodate a refrigerator, including the required electrical outlet and clearances. The refrigerator is not located within the bathroom.
