Permit Residential Roofing/Siding/ Windows/Doors Permit

Remove existing door between the dwelling and attached garage and replace with a new code-compliant fire-rated door assembly. Install a 20- minute fire-rated, solid-core door or approved labeled fire door. Door will be equipped with self-closing hinges/device and a positive latching mechanism. Existing opening will remain the same size. No structural modifications will be made. New door and frame (if applicable) will be installed plumb, level, and square. All work will comply with Minnesota State Building Code and local ordinances, including requirements for separation between garage and living space.
