Employee Strikes Head on Truck Cab, Later Dies
On July 30, 2010, Employee #1, a truck driver, was in the loading area at steel company loading his truck. The employee was entering the cab of the truck, and h e fell back to the floor and struck his head. He was found lying on the floor un responsive. Employee #1 was transported by helicopter to the hospital, where he died approximately four months later. There were no witnesses to the accident an d one serious citation was given for no AWAIR program.
