Remove approximately 16" - 20" (24" spread footing) of basement floor along the North foundation wall in the basement kitchen area (24'). Drill holes in the bottom course of block to allow for drainage. Trench next to the footing and install drainage fabric with washed rock and perforated drain tile. Install sump basket near the Northwest corner with 1/3hp sump pump and discharge to the exterior through the North wall below grade. Connect interior drain tile to the sump basket. Install channel cove baseboard edging along the top of the footing. Seal the top edge of the baseboard to the foundation and re-pour the basement floor. At the exterior, pull back the landscape as needed and trench the sump discharge to daylight. Bore beneath the sidewalk slab. Install 4" PVC pipe in trench. Connect discharge line to the 4" PVC and install lawn edge and a small rock spillway at the daylight-end of the pipe. Restore disturbed landscape.
